The Black Hills' first AI-operations firm · run by a 30-year veteran

Every AI company says their stuff works. We give you a phone number.

We build AI employees that answer your phones 24/7 and automation that does your busywork — so you get your time back.

Madison — our AI Head of Operations — is on the line right now, any hour, and she'll book your meeting before you hang up. That call is the doorway, not the product — behind it she runs the operations: coordinating your AI employees, keeping track of what is happening across the business, and turning it into answers you can act on. Nobody expects this to come out of Hot Springs, South Dakota instead of Silicon Valley. That's the point. Built here, for businesses like yours.

Sound familiar?

The work that eats your week is exactly the work that shouldn't need you.

Your phone rings while you're mid-job with a customer. It goes to voicemail. They don't leave one — they dial the next name on the list, and you never find out it happened.

The follow-up you meant to send Thursday died somewhere in a busy week. The quote request from Saturday got answered Monday — by your competitor, on Saturday. And you're catching up on the paperwork at 9 PM, which is the exact hour a real customer is calling the office nobody's in.

The big outfits solve this with payroll — a front desk, a marketing person, an ops manager. You're competing against entire staffs with the hours you have left after doing the actual work.

You don't need more hours, and you probably don't need more hires. You need the repetitive half of your business to run itself — every call answered, every lead followed up, every routine task done before you look at it — so the hours you do have go to the work that actually needs a human: your customers, your craft, your family.

That's what an AI-operations firm is for. And it's why ours exists here, in the Hills — not in a big-city agency's time zone.

The face of the firm

Madison runs the front office. Yours could feel like this.

Madison answers our phone, briefs our founder, books every meeting, and runs the marketing loop — around the clock, without a sick day. She isn't a mascot and she isn't a recording: call the number at the top of this page and interrupt her shift. Every AI employee we build for a client gets the same standard — their own name, their own voice, tuned to that business.

Thirty years hardening production systems — Golden West, the VA, hospital-critical infrastructure — pointed at your shop. We find the gaps a busy business misses and close them. Fixed scope, plain-English findings, zero fear-selling.

  • Practical review: accounts, access, backups, exposure
  • Every AI system we build is hardened from day one

Start with a free review. Read it in private.

We'll run our assessment engine on your business — the same evidence-based review we publish for clients, where every finding is measured and nothing is invented. No call, no meeting, no follow-up barrage. Email [email protected] with your business name and website, and the review shows up in your inbox. Read it, use it, ignore us — it's yours either way.

Where the line is

We automate. We don't babysit.

It doesn't matter whether you need automation that smooths out your business so it competes at elite level, or deep server and deployment automation under the hood — we do it all, and we'll streamline your architecture from A to Z. But we are not an MSP, and we won't pretend to be one. Keep the company that manages your gear. We build the layer that gives you your time back.

The automation layer — always flowing, never sleepingBuilt here in the Hills

What we do

  • AI employees on your phones — every call answered, every lead worked
  • Business automation, end to end — intake, follow-up, scheduling, reporting
  • Server, deployment, and infrastructure automation — built, shipped, handed over running
  • Architecture streamlining, A to Z
  • Security reviews and hardening — find the gaps, close them
  • Apps that put your whole operation in your pocket

What we don't

  • Printers and copiers
  • Managing your servers on a 24-hour contract
  • Helpdesk tickets and password resets
  • Open-ended hourly engagements that never end
The app

Your whole operation, visible from your pocket.

Every system we run for you reports into one app — phone, tablet, front-desk screen, doesn't matter. Ask out loud and get answers: what got booked today, what the marketing did this week, what needs you. And when something new is needed, you say so — and it comes back done.

What she booked today

Every call your AI employee took — who, what they needed, what landed on the calendar.

Marketing, measured

Social and advertising performance, summarized instead of dashboarded.

Ask for anything

From a report to a whole new capability — say it, and it comes back built and verified.

Proof over promise

Don't take the website's word for it. Pick up your phone.

Every system we sell is running in production for our own businesses first. These aren't demos — they're on the job right now, and you're welcome to interrupt them.

veloxe.ai/reviews

Real published audits

Client-ready reviews where every claim traces to a measured finding. We publish nothing we could not verify.

Where we work

Built in the Hills, for the businesses that run them.

Tourism & hospitality

Campgrounds, lodges, outfitters — we run one ourselves. The 2 AM booking call gets answered because we needed it answered first.

Real estate

RealtyHelm gives agents a front desk and a marketing department. Live for working agents today.

Healthcare & regulated

Eight years building hospital-critical infrastructure for a national medical-device company. We start where compliance allows — back-office and documentation automation — and nothing touches protected data without the agreements done right first.

Professional services

Insurance, legal, accounting, trades — anywhere a missed call is a lost client and follow-up dies in a busy week.

Why we build this way
Human-first. That's the whole company.

Our whole vision comes down to one belief: there's a human on the other end of that phone. A guest in a storm. An owner comparing quotes. Your next client. We don't want to miss that call — so we remove every friction point between them and the person who can help. The AI takes the back-end, because a more powerful processing system should do the processing. Your people get their time back for the work only humans can do: build the relationship, earn the trust, close the deal. The automation isn't the point. The time it hands back to people is.

Who runs it

One builder. Thirty years of receipts.

Jerry Odom spent 30 years building production infrastructure — Fortune 100 deployments coast to coast, the Veterans Administration's 400,000-desktop program, the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, eight years of hospital-critical systems. Then he pointed all of it at the phones and back offices of real businesses.

He wrote the book on it — The Command Layer (2026) — and holds a USPTO provisional patent (pending) on the self-improving architecture underneath these systems. He lives in Hot Springs, runs his own businesses on this stack, and answers to the same standard he sells: if it isn't running live, it isn't real.

"We would never be able to afford this type of talent or get this type of talent here in Rapid City." — the manager who hired him at a Rapid City technology firm, 2016. The whole point of this firm is that now you can — in slices.

One next step

The phone call is the pitch.

Madison answers — any hour, first ring. Tell her what's eating your week. She'll ask the right questions and put you on Jerry's calendar. That's not a demo. It's the product, doing its job.
